Whether you're leaving corporate to pursue a solopreneur life for the first time or an experienced freelance professional, building trust with potential clients, fans, and supporters is crucial to your success.
Sharing what you know is a surefire way to grow your know-like-trust factor.
I was out of the workforce as a housewife for years (a lifetime ago). So, when I decided to re-enter the job market, I crafted a resume highlighting the skills and experiences I gained while managing my husband's business. Several prospective employers appreciated my self-taught skills as transferable and valuable talents.
Career experience, professional training, and self-taught mastery are the foundations of cornerstone content you can build upon.
Here are a few ways to highlight your authority to write better copy:
Showcase your accomplishments, personal achievements, and life experiences in your writing to build authority and gain trust with your readers.
Speak to your professional credentials, and don't be afraid to brag about your triumphs (big or small!).
Share examples, case studies, personal insights and experiences, or testimonials.
