Here's a hard truth value bomb about your content.

More #RealTalk about why no one reads your content.

You're reading Boss Creator Bulletin5-minute (or less) weekly insights empowering you to become a more confident content creator. If you enjoy reading this issue, please give me a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ review [here]. Thanks!

Animals smell fear just like people can sniff out desperation.

Do you post content desperately hoping people will like it or that it goes viral? Why?

What's your motivation and intention?

What's the point of your sharing?

For the love of puppies and rainbows...

Please outline and follow Content Pillars.

So, what are Content Pillars, and why should you care about them?

Your Content Pillars are not your topic categories or headline hooks.

Content Pillars are not your Value Proposition–what you do to benefit others.

Your Content Pillars are your road map, your truth beacons to keep you on point with intention.

Your Content Pillars are your values made manifest, connected to how you'll benefit others.

💡Read more about creating values-aligned Content Pillars here.

What's your driving force for how and what you deliver to your audience?

What tickles your creativity and lights you up when you consider engaging with your supporters and potential clients?

Do you hope to:

  • Inspire

  • Educate

  • Guide

  • Inform

  • Empower

  • Entertain

Or something else?

Content Pillars keep you honest and focused on an end game unrelated to vanity metrics because they radiate your why and intention. Content Pillars are action-oriented.

If you're sitting in front of a blank screen every day (or week), wondering or worrying about what to write and how folks will respond to your post, you will likely stay trapped in a vicious cycle of indecision and overwhelm.

Do you need help determining what your readers want from you?

Following your Content Pillars takes the guesswork out of content planning and strategy.

Next, find your Sweet Spot.

What's Your Content "Sweet Spot" and How Do You Find It?

Your content's #SweetSpot is the intersection between what you want to share and what your ideal audience wants to read.

How do you find your content's #SweetSpot?

  1. What topics most interest you? What are your personal pain points/challenges?

  2. What are your readers' pain points, challenges, and interests?

  3. How do these overlap with your interests + personal challenges?

Next, formulate the purpose of your post using your Content Pillars as a guide for how you will deliver on your promises.

Remember, vanity likes don't automatically translate into sales or genuine connections--you need engagement for that because people don't respond well to desperation.

Posting without intending to connect and engage with your audience is short-sighted, self-absorbed, and desperate.

Seriously. I can't repeat this enough. I will die on this soapbox.

#RealTalk shared with love 😍 I'll see you here next Monday.
